Peace & Justice Committee

The Vision

In conjunction with the mission statements of Rainbow Mennonite Church and Mennonite Church USA, the Peace and Justice Committee of Rainbow Mennonite Church plans to educate our congregation about local, national, and international peace and justice issues, with an emphasis on those issues affecting the congregation and its local neighborhood of Rosedale.

We will provide opportunities for acting and responding to issues through such means as writing letters to elected officials and to editors of local newspapers, attending peace rallies and conferences, financial support of peace and justice events and programs, and other community involvement.

We also strive to build relationships and connections with other peace and justice groups and promote awareness of wider community events and programs.
